Amy was a very special rescue to us.. Her previous elderly
owner died and the family (for whatever reason) packed up
Amy's favorite blanket and toys and took her to Animal
Control.. Amy, though a senior herself, was a one of a kind
and her plea to find a new "Forever Home" was heard by
so many. All she wanted was someone to love her and
tuck her in at night with her little blanket in a loving and safe
home. Amy's wish came true and we will forever have a
very special place in our hearts for her.

I have JUST checked my e-mails! I took a break from the computer over the holidays. Amy is
doing GREAT! She became a member of the family right from the beginning. We had 25
people ( 10 stayed the whole weekend, including 2 dogs) for Thanksgiving and Amy loved them
all. She especially loved my mother and my mother her. My mother took her for drives all that
weekend in her new car. "We" have had only one accident. Since then we have learned
to read her signs. We feel very blessed that Amy has come into our lives and hope she feels
the same way. Amy loves our walks, barking at deer, scratching her back on our carpeting,
sitting in the middle of EVERYTHING, and of course trying to be petted 24/7! Christmas was
fun for her, she received 2 new toys, 2 bones, and a bag of bacon treats! Christmas would
have been very lonely without her. Thank you for matching us up. Happy New Year!
