Curly (puppy on far right) was rescued, along with his two
littermates Moe and Larry, from an Animal Control
Facility on what would have been their last day of life.
They were so adorable, we could not pass them by.

Attached are a few photos of Curly, now named Tanner, in his new home.  He is such a joyful addition to our
family, along with the puppy (sheppard mix) Kota, we adopted from Belleville Humane Society. They play and
play and play until they absolutely exhaust themselves. Tanner and Kota are already house trained. Tanner had
a rough start as he was quite sick with hook worms. He is now 8 days out from his third worming and has
started gaining weight, he's up to 20 lbs now, and looks great. The "Boys" as my husband and I call them went
for their first walk, on a leash of course, on Wednesday (47 degrees, yeah). They started out a bit rebellious but
by the end of 20 minutes they calmed down and were getting the hang of it. They ate then slept for the rest of
the evening, except to paw (knock) at the sliding patio door to let us know they needed to go potty.
Tanner spent the day at the vets today, as he is being neutered and microchipped. Both his dingleberries
dropped and he was getting rather frisky. I know Kota will be happy about this (keep Tanner off his back,
literally).
I could go on and on but I need to try and get a few things done, which is hard these days as both my husband
and I find ourselves spending countless hours watching and playing with our new family members.

Thank you to the staff of Hope Rescue for the wonderful job done in helping all the animals that have been
fortunate enough to have you come into their lives.
