Daisy was one of eight puppies born on 1/1/2207 in our
home.  Their mommy, Abby had been rescued 2 days
prior from an Animal Control where she was on her last
day.  That day we rescued 9 lives, not just one.

Jackie and Kim,
Daisy has been doing well.  Still trying to get use to the kitties.
She wants to play and they don't know what to make of it yet.  They will
get there.  Here are some of her 1st day pic.

Jackie and Kim,
I'm so sorry to hear about Peter Pan.  He was very special.  Well we
just went to the vet for the second time and Miss Daisy is now 12.4 pounds.
She's getting big fast.  She is such a little love bug.  Gives kisses all the
time and wants a lap to lay on.  We are doing very well with the potty
training.  She doesn't know what to make of the wind and rain yet, Daisy gets
a little nervous going out on those days.  Daisy is awfully cute when its
bedtime, she likes to drag her bed around our bed room until she finds just
the perfect place to sleep.  We love her very much and are so thankful for
you two.        Lisa and Mike

Hey Kim and Jackie,
Sorry to send you so many pics...but you know our little girl is beautiful.  But I had to send this one.
She is doing great, starting to ease up with the whole biting thing.  She loves to play with my
brothers two Great Danes and Lana (you know her).  She is chasing the poor kitties around but
they are getting better with each other.  One day hopefully I will send you guys a pic of a cat and
her *wink*.  I am planning on bring her to the vet on April 4th for her next series of shots.  I already
called and told them about her litter mates reaction but I'll remind them.  I can't believe how big all
of the puppies are getting from the pics.  I really enjoy being able to read about the others.  Well
we start puppy classes on April 15 so wish us much luck.  But she is very smart and quick with
picking up this so this should be easy.  And we are planning our first camping trip in May.  She
loves being outside, not sure about being there without mom and dad, but still loves it.  And Miss
Daisy is always looking forward to her walks. Well I hope this pic brings a smile to your face to.
We are using it as our desktop pic for our computer.     Lisa and Mike

Jackie and Kim,
Hello guys..sorry its been awhile.  Miss Daisy is getting very big now and still as
cute as can be.  She loves everyone and all animals.  She will immediately flip
over and show you her belly to rub.  We have been going to puppy classes for
about 3 weeks now and she is doing great.  She absolutely loves the classes
because she gets treats and gets to play with the other dogs.  We do have a little
problem with her jumping up on people but the trainer says its because she's a
boxer.  But she listens very well and is quick with picking up things.  We went to
Carlyle with her last Saturday and Daisy went into the lake for the first time.  My
dad "grandpa" went into the water with her to make her more okay with it.  She is
a funny little girl..she loves the hose to be sprayed on her and to drink from it but
she still won't go outside when its raining without us.  Potty training is great
but she did mess up the other day.  I was vacuuming the living room "which
she hates" and she jumped up on the couch "a big no no" and I guess she was
so scared she peed on our couch.  I could of hurt her.  But she knows when
she does bad and immediately runs for her crate and gives you the biggest
puppy look she can.  How can you stay mad at that!  We are going on hikes
with her and she is off the leash.  She walks in front of us but turns around every
now and then to make sure she's not to far ahead.  She loves her walks and stays
pretty much on the trail except when we call her to go down to the little creek.
Daisy always has a toy in her mouth and I know they say you shouldn't have all her
toys laying out for her to grab when she wants but I rather her chew on those and
not important stuff.  Which she really hasn't.  The pictures I'm sending you are
from Easter.  That's my mom "grandma" and her grandchildren as she calls them.
Brutus and Ceaser are the Great Danes.  The other pic is her favorite spot to
lay..on her bed in the sun.  Well hope all is going well.

Kim and Jackie,
Hi guys how are you doing?  Sorry its been awhile.  Kinda busy here
with summer coming.  Daisy did go camping last weekend.  I thought I would
send you some pics.  She is getting so big..  The puppies are about 5 and
1/2 months old and she weighs about 38 pounds..  Getting big and very
strong.  She loves to chase after the squirrels and birds... and she still loves
everyone and all house animals...  But she is very spoiled.  We bought
her a little kid pool so she can jump in it while she is outside...  but
mostly she just likes to sit up on my swing and watch everyone..  She has
gotten the taste of kitty poop and now won't leave the boxes alone.  She
always has to have a toy or something to chew or she just looks depresssed.
Our puppy classes are almost over and she did very well.  She even got this
really shy dog that won't come out of under his owners legs, to play at class.
Her favorite thing to do is go for walks in the woods.  We still allow her
to be off the leash and she does very well... but she has to be infront of
us...she doesn't like it when shes in back.  We are trying to teach her
to catch frisbees...she caught it a couple times...and her next new trick
is going to be to smile...so I've been working on that with her...I tell
her smile pretty and hold her lips up..
well I hope you guys are doing okay and like the pics...
