Beacon was rescued from Animal Control. He was such a
gentle soul, we could not bear to leave him behind. Upon his
initial exam with our vet, he tested positive for heartworms. But
he made it through the treatments like a pro and now has the
perfect "Forever Home".

Jackie and Kim,
It has been almost 5 months since we adopted Beacon, f/k/a Harry, and he has been
such a wonderful addition to our home. Tragically, we lost Bella last month. I believe
that Beacon has helped Bond deal with that loss, not to mention my husband and me,
as well. I insisted on giving a homeless dog a home for Christmas, and reluctantly, my
husband did.
He wasn't the most obedient at first, but with time, he has completely changed. He
loves the yard, playing ball, sniffing the trash (and occasionally getting into it), treats,
napping and most of all, cuddling up to Bond. There is not an inch in our house or yard
that the little beagle has not covered with his nose!
I have attached a few pictures. Thanks for all of the work you do.
