Julius was part of our very first rescue group. He was such a
well manned pet that everyone fell in love with him very quickly.
Now see him in his "Forever Home".

Hello!
Here is another picture of Julius, this is our 1st Christmas together! We are so happy
with him and we are not sure what we ever did without him. He just finished his
treatments for heartworms that he started in March and is doing very well. He goes back
in October for a follow-up to make sure they got them all so keep your fingers crossed!
That was a very scary time but a lesson well learned. I am now the #1 teacher to
ANYONE I see with a dog especially a pup because like me they may not know enough
being a first time dog owner in Illinois. In North Dakota we didn't hear of such things as
heartworms, it must be just too cold for them. He is now able to run and play after several
months of bed rest and couldn't be happier because it is just in time for summer!

Angelica was a member of the "Rugrat" litter. She, along
with her 6 other littermates were raised by a good
Samaritan who found their pregnant mommy as a stray and
took care of her while she had puppies.
This wonderful family, who had adopted Julius over a year
earlier came back to adopt Angelica. Now these two have
a "Loving Forever Home" together.

Hello!
I hope you had a great vacation, it was well deserved! Everything is going great here.
Julius and Izzy aka Angelica are the best of friends now! Izzy and Julius went on their
first camping trip last weekend. Julius is a natural born camper and Izzy is way too much
of a princess for it. I guess she is a lot like me! For Fathers Day we went to Grandma
and Papas and they got to play with Boo-Boo. Who my mom is now calling Bo. Which I
think is perfect because it rhymes with no and she definitely hears that a lot! She is one
crazy and rambunctious pup! I have attached a pics of Izzy and Julius sharing dinner,
Izzy, Julius and Boo playing, & Izzy and dad on Fathers Day. She is growing fast, my
mom cant believe the difference in every time she sees her.
Talk to you soon, take care

I guess she played in the yard too long! She came to my legs and cried for me to pick her
up and seconds later she was out!
