Lizzy (aka Regan) was rescued from an Animal Control Facility
on what would have been her last day.  Now she is happy, living
in a loving home.

I wanted to let you know that Regan (now Lizzy) is doing well in her new home.   She
went to the vet yesterday for a cough and we found out she has a case of bronchitis,
which she is taking an antibiotic now.   She is a very calm dog!  She seldom barks
(even when she’s in the crate) and she cuddles next to you when on the couch, in a
chair, etc.  Our other dog, CJ is so jealous and hyper compared to Lizzy.  But they
are working it out and I hope the neutering will calm him down a bit.  I think we
adopted a very good companion for CJ.  Thanks for allowing us to adopt her.

Lizzy is doing great!  She is a little more puppy than what we thought (likes to snatch things that
aren’t hers and run), but she listens pretty well when you tell her to stop.  She loves the kids in
the neighborhood and wants to hang out in the cul-de-sac with them, so when we are out front
we are working on training her to stay in the yard w/o a leash.  We want to do because during
the summer we go to the Lake of the Ozarks a lot and there are no fences there.  We still have
a few house training issues, but usually her accidents are by the door, so I don’t fault her too
much because we didn’t pay attention.  I don’t think she was feeling good when we got her
because she was so quiet and slept all of the time.  Now she is pesters CJ to play/chase her,
barks at neighbor dogs, eats a ton of food, overall she is just a joy to have around.  Everyone
that meets Lizzy comments about how affectionate she is.  I attached some recent photos of
her.    Thanks for all of your help!
