Jackie and Kim & Friends;
I had to take a moment out of my busy day to share my joy
in adopting Vinnie. He seems to have adjusted well to his
new surroundings, and Sienna loves him! They wrestle
together and there seems to be very little jealousy...We go
on 2-3 walks a day, and have already made an
appointment with our vet for a thorough check.
I had to laugh the other night when while clipping his nails
(more about getting him comfortable with it than him
needing it!) I discovered he has only 3 toes on his one
back foot! Anyway, he doesn't know he has a toe deficit,
and is happy as can be. The great news is, his hearing
seems to be better than we thought. He responds well to
a sharp "NO" and whistles, etc. He already knows to sit
for treats and his food! I am so excited to see what kind
of dog he will become....and will send photos this
weekend but wanted you to know I am thankful for the
work you do and the 15 hours in the car was well worth the
trip!! Thank you for helping make it happen so fast. I've
already passed your rescue information on...Thank you
ALL for taking such good care of him!

Hello gang at Hope Rescues...
Vinnie is doing beautifully...however, he lost his black and
tan coonhound friend on New Year's. They were fabulous
friends...so it has been a bit of an adjustment. Fortunately, I
have taken in a foster dog for a local rescue as
pictured...thank you for inspiring me, and for hooking me up
with Prince Vinnie. He has the best personality...sweet,
gentle natured, cuddly...I adore him. So does everyone who
meets him.
thanks again Jackie and Kim and friends!
